This organic fair trade Bolivian coffee has a subtle nuttiness and a smooth finish. CENAPROC, a cooperative of 140 small farmers, took home two awards in 2007 from the prestigious Cup of Excellence competition. The forested slopes where the coop has been producing organic coffee for over 20 years contrast sharply with the widespread damage of slash-and-burn agriculture that is taking place all around them.
